Early last year, about forty people met to learn more about the possibility of collectively purchasing the Voit Farm.
From this first gathering on January 14th, 2020, the group continued to meet twice monthly (2nd and 4th Tuesdays, 6-8pm) at first in person but with the pandemic restrictions we’ve moved to Zoom. In the past year we’ve accomplished a lot — we’ve incorporated as a non-profit (Voitlandia, Ltd), elected a board of directors, raised $3,395 on GoFundMe, have welcomed over 300 supporters, are close to finalizing our mission and vision statement, and are working on a concept plan for the farm.
